In a fun, fast read, you'll find a lot of
good memories of great times we had
in Blackpool in the 1960s. So many great musicians (and some not so great) got their start here. I was lucky to be around and see them come in and launch out into the rest of the world. The book has 3 indexes of the people, bands, and places that made our Blackpool 'the hot spot' of the 1960s music scene.

Back in the day. I look the same don't I? Wait, don't put your glasses on. Of course I do!

'Rock-n-Roll Fever - Blackpool In The 60's' has been, so far, a great success, and I thank those of you who have purchased copies. I am, at present, working on a follow-up, This book will be mainly about the 'Picador Club,' where futures for many musicians started. I would like to  hear from anyone who has any information to offer about this Club. I also need to talk members of any bands that were involved at the Club. Would appreciate your sharing any band photos/information of anything regarding the Club, its owners and the bands or entertainers that appeared there. I can be reached at home: 01253-398743 or on my mobile: 0775-992-9960...Pete Shelton
